One of my favourite things to do is paint my nails. I love the freedom you have with it because there are so many colours to choose from and designs that you can do. Being in a corporate setting at work I am a bit restricted with the clothes I wear to the office but I love the fact that I can always express my fun loving, adventurous side with my nails. Wearing more brighter colours always makes me happy and lifts my mood.

I don't like to spend too much money on my nail polish because the trends are always changing but I still want something that won't chip off after one day. My favourite brands that I like to use are Essence (R20) and Tip Top (R40). They are always up to date with the trends and colours of the seasons and they don't break the bank so you are able to update your colours each season. Remember to always use a base oat to protect your natural nails from getting stained.

Keep Reaching

Hello my lovelies...

I've been thinking that at the beginning of the year it's sooo easy to make resolutions and plans for all you want to achieve in the coming year. But as times passes you lose that passion and motivation and you start to get lazy.

Let's just take one day at a time and keep dreaming and growing. Even if you try to do one small goal a week or start taking steps to a bigger goal, it will all start to add up and doing something is a lot better than doing nothing. Before you know it you can start ticking things off your list.....

Style Inspiration - Victoria Beckham

Hi my lovelies....

I decided that I will do an on going feature about celebs whose style and fashion I like or admire. This week I am featuring Victoria Beckham. I have been a fan of Victoria Beckham from the time she was in the Spice Girls, I'm not ashamed to say that ;) lol . I know people give her a hard time but no one can dispute the fact that this lady knows fashion.

She has really taken the fashion world by storm since designing her own fashion line and now it is quite common to see lots of celebs wearing her designs. Whether she is looking after her kids, showcasing a new fashion line or walking the red carpet, she always looks good. I love how she even makes wearing jeans and a t-shirt look stylish.

James Bond birthday party

So last night my brother-in-law had a party to celebrate his 40th birthday. He decided to have the theme of James Bond so all the guys had to come dressed in their suits and the ladies had to be a bond girl.


I wasn't to sure what I wanted to wear because I had a choice between 2 dresses. One was black with stud detail along the bust or a white dress with an Aztec design. In the end I chose to wear the Aztec dress because I loved the zip detail down the front and also the fact that it was different and wouldn't be similar to the dresses the other ladies would choose. And besides what bond girl wants to blend in with the crowd :p

Hello my fashion bunnies. Everyone has their go to accessories that they love to wear to finish off any outfit. Mine has always been bracelets, the more the better. This season I particularly love gold bracelets and bangles as well as the woven, colourful bracelets that are a staple accessory in any boho inspired look (think Vanessa Hudgens and Nicole Richie). I am actually starting to run out of place to keep all my accessories. My mum keeps telling me that I have enough accessories and I should stop buying more (shock & horror) a girl can never have enough ;) right?
